India: after revelations of fraud, the Supreme Court invalidates a municipal election. The municipal council of the city of Chandigarh, in Punjab, in the north of India voted to elect their mayor on January 30.

But in the images, we see the president of the office invalidating with a stroke of a pencil eight ballots which were favorable to the opposition candidate, Kuldeep Kumar. By invalidating these eight ballots, the municipality was won by the Hindu nationalist party BJP and its candidate, Manoj Sonkar.
