In Turkey, Istanbul courthouse targeted by “terrorist” attack. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced Tuesday that a ‘terrorist’ attack on the Istanbul courthouse left three people dead, including the two attackers.

The Interior Ministry previously reported the death of two attackers in an attack carried out by a radical Marxist-Leninist organization. The far-left armed group DHKP-C does not generally attack the Turkish armed forces, but rather targets American “imperialist” interests and NATO.
