[HIGHLIGHTS] In the Vladimir region, a foreigner was sentenced to nine years for helping terrorists

Court in Vladimir region sentenced a native of one of the Central Asian republics to nine years in prison for assisting the terrorist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham*. The defendant was found guilty of the incriminated crime with a sentence of nine years.

At the end of December, security forces detained four foreigners in Yekaterinburg involved in financing a terrorist organization. The organization was recognized as terrorist by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated December 29, 2014.
