“We all have the same experience: we do not have access to training, to the same opportunities, to promotions,” says the group's president. The group is calling for the creation of an independent body to deal with the issue of racism in the police force. It is also calling for an end to the use of ‘black or Asian’ as a derogatory term for people of African descent.
