A Kia driver fell asleep at the wheel on the Kurgan-Tyumen highway and drove into the oncoming lane, provoking a collision with an Opel. As a result of the collision, a pensioner from the Sverdlovsk region, who was a passenger in the Opel, died.
The driver and second passenger were also injured. Previously, three people were killed and two more were injured due to a car collision in the Saratov region. The traffic police are investigating the incident.
