In 1982, the writer Zuhair Al-Shayeb left behind 4 sons, the eldest of whom was 12 years old. On the same desk on which the father was sitting, the daughter Mona Al- Shayeb sat down to complete the translation of the rest of the parts of the encyclopedia "Description of Egypt" The great translator passed away in 1982 at the age of 47, and he did not translate from the encyclopedia.

Mona started translating the encyclopedia at 17 years old, and doubled her efforts at 18 thanks to her mother.
