80 miners of the Mariinsky mine refused to rise to the surface because of rumors of mass layoffs. Head of the Malyshevsky urban district, Maria Rubtsova, said the government has no information about the massive reduction of employees.
Discontent is caused by plans for the development of the mine, including the transition to open-pit mining, the construction of a flotation plant and in general, the region's information policy department quotes RT-Capital comments. The company told the agency URA.RU that there can be no objective reasons for discontent: salaries are paid, no one is fired, the enterprise is not closed.
