In the first quarter of 2023, the cross-strait and Hong Kong and Macao consumer confidence index was released in Beijing on the 8th. Consumer confidence index is a subjective evaluation and psychological expectation obtained by consumers after comprehensive judgment of all aspects of the economic situation.
The index includes six sub-indices: economic development, employment, prices, living, home purchase and investment. The Consumer Confidence Index survey was jointly completed by Capital University of Economics and Business, City University of Hong Kong, Macau University of Science and Technology and Fu Jen University in Taiwan.
