Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the regional Ministry of Agriculture has begun paying compensation to agricultural enterprises for damage caused by Ukrainians. Gladkov added that this assistance is especially important and necessary during the spring sowing period.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to study the issue of lending to Agricultural enterprises in new regions. It is clarified that this is the first tranche of 1.8 billion rubles that the Russian government transferred to help agricultural enterprises in the region.
