In Russia, an increase in the number of frauds with Telegram premium subscriptions has been recorded. It is noted that attackers create phishing sites and promise users a subscription as a gift or offer to purchase it at a discount.
Earlier, Sberbank spoke about a new fraud scheme, in which attackers create fake accounts of directors in instant messengers. The number of phishing domains allegedly associated with a Telegram Premium subscription in January of this year was 21. For the whole of January 2023 there were only nine.
