In January 2024, 10,928 cases of mental problems that violated the eight central regulations were investigated and dealt with nationwide. 15,100 people were criticized, educated and punished, of which 11,725 were punished by party discipline and government affairs.
The three types of problems investigated in January were illegal collection and delivery of valuable specialties and gifts, illegal eating and drinking, and illegal payment of subsidies or benefits. The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection proposed to carry out special rectification of illegal eating.
