Earlier, in Veliky Novgorod, a case was opened against a ballot box that was spilled with paint. Head of the Russian Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, compared citizens who destroy ballot boxes at polling stations with those who set fire to military registration and enlistment offices. The materials collected by the police officers were sent to the investigative authorities for making a procedural decision.
