The authorities of the Egyptian province of the Red Sea decided to open part of the coast near the resort town of Hurghada for swimming. This is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of representatives of the province.

Experts for two days monitored the situation at sea and did not record any anomalous phenomena. The authorities recommended "gradually resuming swimming in the sea and water sports" with the exception of the area where a shark attack on a person was recorded. According to the authorities, this site will not be opened until the security system is reviewed.
