In 2022, public security organs across the country cracked a total of 2,7 criminal cases of infringement of intellectual property rights and the manufacture and sale of fake and shoddy goods. Public security organs have obtained clues through service outposts, cracked more than 10 cases of Intellectual Property infringement crimes, arrested more than 20 criminal suspects, recovered millions of yuan in economic losses.
The Ministry of Public Security announced 10 typical cases of strengthening criminal protection of intellectual Property rights to support comprehensive innovation. In January 2023, the public security. organs of Zhejiang, Liaoning and Shandong Provinces worked closely together to crack the "1.1" case of pirated and disseminated Spring Festival theatrical films.
