Impending famine in Gaza: People pull aid supplies from the sea. More than 570,000 people in the region - around a quarter of Gaza's population - are on the verge of famine.

Aid organizations warn of an emergency situation for hundreds of thousands. Almost 30,000 have been killed in Gaza since the Israeli offensive following the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7th. 85 percent of the population within Gaza is on the run. Despite ongoing negotiations for a ceasefire, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pushing ahead with the ground offensive.
