ICJ rejects Ukraine's 'terrorist financing' accusations against Russia. kyiv filed a complaint in January 2017 against Moscow for violation of the convention on discrimination and that on the financing of terrorism.

Moscow was found guilty of violating the Terrorist Financing Convention. But for the sole reason that no investigation has been opened against individuals suspected of supporting the separatists of Donbass. The judges also declared Russia guilty of violate the Convention on Racial Discrimination. They accuse Moscow of preventing Ukrainian children from being able to study in their language since the annexation of Crimea in 2014.
