IAEA Director-General visits Japan in March to confirm status of treated water release at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. Foreign Minister Kamikawa announced that IAEA Director- General Grossi will visit Japan next month.

He will be touring the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima nuclear Power Plant and confirming the status of discharge of treatedWater into the sea. The purpose of the project was to check the situation, taking into account that half a year has passed since the release of treated Water.
