Preschools and schools in Vaggeryd municipality today throw away 33 percent less food than just four years ago. Food waste is around 50 grams per serving.
This is better than in 2019 when the project to try to reduce food waste started. The food waste that exists today is mainly out in the serving, and therefore they are currently working most actively to reduce it. The staff has more tricks to ensure that children do not take more food than they can eat.See more in the clip above.
