4.2 million children in Great Britain are growing up in poverty. 43 percent of all children with two or more siblings live in poverty in the UK.

A quarter of all young people had psychological problems last year - in 2017 it was only one in ten. In the poorest neighborhoods, 30 percent of children are already overweight by the end of primary school. The number of mental illnesses among British children and young people is at an all-time high and is rising even faster since the pandemic.
