Hostages were freed in an American factory in Turkey after they were detained in protest against the Gaza war. The Turkish authorities announced that they had arrested an armed man who detained employees at a factory for the American company "Procter & Gamble" The Kocaeli governor's office said in a statement yesterday, Thursday, that the hostages were unharmed.

The rescue operation began after negotiations with their captor, who is also an employee at the factory, failed. Since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza, Turkey has witnessed many demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people.
