Hong Kong SAR's "Maintenance of National Security Ordinance" gazetted and takes effect. Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Chan Kwok-kee, met with the media.
He believes that in the future, it will be like the illegal "Occupy Central" movement in 2014 and the "extradition bill storm" in 2019. Hong Kong citizens can once again live a peaceful and stable life, and the SAR government can focus on developing the economy and improving people's livelihood.
