The Transport and Logistics Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government issued a statement on social media on the 5th. It is internationally recognized that the unreasonable comments have no factual basis and are made out of nothing.
The statement pointed out that data show that Hong Kong has excellent performance in all aspects of shipping. The Maintenance of National Security Ordinance allows Hong Kong to effectively prevent, stop and punish espionage activities, conspiracy traps of foreign intelligence agencies and infiltration and sabotage by hostile forces. Hong Kong's maritime port industry will continue to ride the waves and develop brilliantly in a stable business environment.
