Hong Kong representatives to the National People's Congress and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference discuss 23 pieces of legislation: Injecting new impetus into Hong Kong's continued prosperity. On March 19, the Hong Kong SAR Legislative Council unanimously passed the "Maintenance of National Security Ordinance" on the third reading.

This marks the successful completion of the legislative work on Article 23 of theHong Kong Basic Law. In interviews with reporters from China Youth Daily and China YouthDaily, Hong Kong deputies expressed their firm support for the legislation of Article 23.
