The first Hong Kong International Shakespeare Festival held a launch ceremony in Hong Kong on the 27th. Artists from Hong Kong, Romania, Italy, South Korea, the United Kingdom and Australia shared how to learn from European Shakespeare.
It is Asia's first international performing arts platform with Shakespeare as the theme. The organizers stated that they hope to promote cross-cultural understanding and exchange through artistic exchange and dialogue, and enrich Hong Kong’s cultural experience. The Shakespeare Festival covers five domestic and overseas cooperation projects, including wonderful performances of "King Lear" and "Lady Macbeth"
