After a cold snap in December, the rapeseed took a lot of beating. Many farmers have chosen to plough down the autumn rapeseed and instead grow other crops.

And now another problem has been added – voracious pigeons. "This gangster has a gnawing rapeseed leaf in his beak," says farmer Emil Sällvik. "We have a pigeon invasion on top of the already problematic rapeseed population," he says. "It's a bit of a mess," he adds.
