More than 90,000 cases are on the Swedish Migration Agency's table. More than 200 employees at the citizenship tests in Norrköping and Gothenburg will handle the cases.

Mats Rosenqvist, Head of Section at the Migration Agency, says stricter requirements can also reduce the workload. The government is expected to present the directives for the new stricter requirements this summer. The agency has handled and settled 250,000 applications in the past three years, and the next three years look exactly the same.
