The Faculty of Arabic Language at Al-Azhar University in the Egyptian capital Cairo mourned on Saturday the professor of rhetoric and criticism. The most prominent thing he was famous for was those dialogues and debates that dealt with Islamic, intellectual and cultural issues.

He was born on May 17, 1929 in the village of Al-Qurashiya in the center of Santa - Gharbia Governorate, and memorized the Holy Qur'an at an early age. He received his Ph.D. in 1978 for his thesis "The Case between Ancient Rhetoric and Modern Criticism"
