Omar Alshogre was imprisoned and tortured after participating in the protests during the Arab Spring. He is not surprised that Syria is now being admitted to the Arab League.
"These are dictatorships that think of themselves first and foremost, but their people should stand up for us," he says. But despite the fact that the regime has strengthened its power, Omar Alsahogre refuses to despair and is disappointed that the announcement has not provoked greater reactions in the rest of the Arab world.
