American scientist Joseph Dettori has succeeded in breaking the world record for living the longest time under water without reducing the pressure on the human body. The previous record for staying the longest underwater under high and continuous stress on the body was 73 days, two hours and 34 minutes held by researchers Bruce Cantrell and Jessica Fine of Tennessee in 2014.

The experiment will attempt to uncover how high pressure affects cell replication, prolongs human lifespans and prevents aging diseases. It will also examine the psychological effects of being in that isolated environment during the past 100 days.
