China-Indonesia comprehensive strategic partnership has continued to deepen and become more substantial. The two countries have pragmatic cooperation in economy, trade, high-speed rail, and people-to-people cultural exchanges.

In 2022, the bilateral trade volume between China and Indonesia will be US$149.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.8%. Indonesia is China's second largest investment destination in ASEAN. As of March 3, 2024 local time, Indonesia's Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway has sent more than 2 million passengers.
