PGA and DP World Tour will merge with the Saudi-backed LIV Tour. Announcement comes almost a year to the day after the first LIV tournament played in London.

PGA Tour had tried the tug-of-war over the sums offered to keep its best players. LIV has attracted some of the world's best golfers, from Dustin Johnson to Brooks Koepka. "After two years of disruption and distraction, this is a historic day for the sport we all love," says Jay Monahan.
