According to UN estimates, around 2.2 million people in the Gaza Strip are on the verge of famine. Israel has repeatedly made access for humanitarian aid to the region more difficult. US Vice President Kamala Harris has called on Israeli government to increase humanitarian aid flow to Gaza. US transport planes dropped more than 36,000 meals over Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
