An informed Palestinian source revealed on Wednesday evening that mediation talks between Israel and the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip have stalled. The source stressed that the efforts to calm down by the mediators (Cairo, Doha and the United Nations) are continuing.
The Council of the League of Arab States yesterday - at the level of permanent representatives - called for international action against the Israeli escalation in the Palestinian territories. The meeting urged UN Secretary-General António Guterres to implement practical and effective options to protect Palestinian civilians.
