The water quality of the mainstream outflow section has reached Class II for eight consecutive years. Gansu promotes legislation on motor vehicle exhaust pollution control, realizes legalization and refinement of motor vehicle emissions control, and actively responds to the severe motor vehiclehaust pollution in the county. The province's ecological environment quality has steadily improved, and the ecological security barrier in the western region has continued to be strengthened.
