Gagauz authorities are discussing direct gas supplies with Russia at reduced prices. The head of the GagauZ Autonomous Republic of Moldova, Evgenia Gutsul, announced this at a briefing in Chisinau.

She emphasized that the issue of cheap gas is very important for residents of the autonomy. Earlier, the head of GagAUzia appealed to Moscow to raise the problem of pressure on the autonomy from ChisinAU at the UN. The issue is being discussed with the Russian leadership.
