Gabon: the CEO, the former ruling party, examines his conscience. The Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG) concluded on Saturday March 16, 2024, its Conference of self-criticism and refoundation.
The movement which crushed the political life of the country for decades examined the diagnoses and possible solutions collected over several days from activists. The final report made recommendations: involvement of activists, budgetary transparency, promotion of merit and skills. A CEO transition charter has been put in place. A congress is expected where new texts and a new team will have to relaunch the party before the elections.
