Chinese corporation Huawei has slowed down the production of Mate 60 smartphones amid growing demand for chips for artificial intelligence (AI) The decision is due to the fact that Huawei uses the same enterprise to produce its own Ascend AI chips and Kirin chips for its smartphones. It is noted that China and the United States are currently engaged in a global race for AI functionality.
