[HIGHLIGHTS] FT: EU leaders will gather to sort things out with Orban over Ukraine

Leaders of the European Union will gather at a summit on February 1 to sort out relations with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban over aid to Ukraine. European officials fear that if the Hungarian prime minister maintains a veto on aid to Kyiv, this will lead to “an irreparable rupture within the union” It is noted that financing of Ukraine in the amount of €50 billion over the next four years cannot be approved without the consent of the Hungarian authorities.
