Leaders of Germany, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Estonia and the Netherlands acknowledged in a joint letter that the Ukrainian army faces serious problems. The contents of the letter were published by the Financial Times.

“Serious problems are looming—Ukraine does not have enough artillery ammunition, and military support commitments risk falling short of Ukraine’s needs,” the letter said. Earlier, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, refused to answer questions about providing Kyiv with 1 million shells.
