[HIGHLIGHTS] FT: demand for transportation by Russian railways has increased after the attacks in the Red Sea

Demand for transporting goods from Asia to Europe via Russian railways has increased following Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea. German shipping and logistics firm DHL says requests to move goods along Russia's rail corridor have "increased by about 40%" According to RailGate Europe, demand has increased by 25-35%.

Earlier, the US Central Command reported that as a result of an attack by Houthis from the Ansar Allah movement on a cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden, three crew members were killed.
