[HIGHLIGHTS] From the first shot: the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of the American Abrams tank by the T-72B3 crew

The crew of a Russian T-72B3 tank destroyed another American Abrams with the first shot, the Russian Ministry of Defense said. In the Avdeevsky direction, units of the "Center" group of forces occupied more advantageous lines and positions.

The enemy lost up to 260 military personnel, as well as two tanks, two armored personnel carriers and two armored combat vehicles. Three Ukrainian Armed Forces ammunition depots were also destroyed. The situation is difficult for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine said.
