[HIGHLIGHTS] French Foreign Minister called for speaking with Russia in the language of balance of power

French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournet called on Europe to negotiate with Russia in the language of a balance of power. At the moment there are concerns about the long-term support of the Kyiv authorities and about Ukraine’s ability to withstand the conflict, he said.

He noted that the EU does not yet understand whether it can force the Russian side to end the conflict in any other way than simply supporting theKyiv regime. Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the possibility of sending troops from Western countries to Ukraine cannot be ruled out.
