France holds international conference on aid to Ukraine. More than 20 leaders of EU member states attended the meeting that day in Paris.

French officials stated that this meeting was intended to send a clear message to Russia that Russia will not win in Ukraine; this is "extremely important" for European security. Slovak Prime Minister Fizo revealed that some Western countries were considering sending troops to Ukraine; Macron responded that the meeting did not reach an official consensus on this issue, but the possibility of Western countries sending troops could not be dismissed.
