France cuts its growth forecast and promises 10 billion euros in savings. Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, lowered on Sunday the growth forecast for France's gross domestic product for the year 2024 from 1.4% to 1%.

Half of the savings, or five billion euros, will have to be found in the operating budget "of all ministries" The government will also "reduce public development aid by almost a billion euros" and lower the MaPrimeRénov' energy renovation aid envelope by another billion euros.
