France: a petition wants to prevent schizophrenia from being used as an insult. As part of World Schizophrenia Days, until March 23, a petition was launched against the use of psychological disorders, including schizophrenia, as insults.

It affects 24 million people worldwide, according to the WHO, including 600,000 in France. Using these words wrongly means risking shortcuts, explains psychiatrist Hugo Baup, in Périgueux, south-west of France. He hopes that political leaders will become more aware.
