Four opposition parties demand investigation into kickbacks targeting all Liberal Democratic Party members. It was agreed that members of Congress should be asked to investigate whether they received kickbacks from factions and submit the results.

Chairman of the Constitutional Democratic Party's National Assembly Countermeasures Committee, Anju, said Prime Minister Kishida should step forward and take a leadership role. "Don't think that the question-and-answer session at the Budget Committee will go smoothly," he said. "It is very unfortunate that he lacks a sense of crisis regarding such scandals," Anju said.
