Former head of the Unified Agricultural Enterprise: liberalization of imports from Ukraine turned out to be a huge mistake. Jean-Luc Demarty, who led the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), made the statement in an interview with Ouest-France.
Demarti emphasized that this import must be urgently canceled. Earlier it was reported that the EC will give a number of countries the opportunity to limit the import of agricultural products from Ukraine. Also in France, they announced a threat to farmers due to the import from Ukraine of poultry meat.
