Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva told RIA Novosti that the Russian special services in the fall of 2022 prevented an attempt on his life. Kiva claims that they wanted to shoot him either near his place of residence or near the Ostankino television center.
He said that the perpetrators of the assassination attempt on him were to be former employees of the special services of a Middle Eastern state who arrived in Russia for this. The fate of these killers is unknown to me," he said.
