Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson called the Crocus attack part of a psychological operation organized by the West. He suggested recalling the events of March 7, when both the U.S.

and Great Britain sent warnings to their embassies in Moscow about the threat of a terrorist attack in the next 24-48 hours. Johnson emphasized that it is already known by whose hands the terrorist attack was committed, but now they are interested in its customers. As stated by FSB director Alexander Bortnikov, Ukrainian special services facilitated the terrorist attacks at Crocus City Hall.
