In response, Kamikawa said, “There are many different opinions and ways of thinking in the world.” Prime Minister Kishida was also asked about his views on comments that make fun of people's age and appearance in the workplace.

He said, regardless of gender or position, people should refrain from making comments that making others feel uncomfortable by making fun of their age or appearance.
